Who is this GAL?
I have more than seven years experience in both print and web design. During this time, I have worked at a fast-paced public relations agency, producing designs for outside clients and internal marketing/branding efforts. This experience has allowed me to sharpen my design skills while managing tight deadlines, limited budgets and multiple projects. I am comfortable working on both Mac and PC platforms, and am familiar with maintaining and troubleshooting them. I also have a Bachelor's degree in psychology and am interested in design work within the healthcare and non-profit industries.
I have a reputation as a team player and a great problem-solver, who is equally adept at working independently or collaboratively. My work is organized and pixel-perfect. I am intellectually curious and pick up new skills easily. I thrive under pressure and believe that flexibility and maintaining composure is the key to success (and sanity).
When I'm not in front of a computer, you can usually find me camping, hiking, cooking, gardening, or playing in the snow. I almost always have a camera with me and have a serious infatuation with social media.
